How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who reaches Januaryhistory Septic to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please let us know. This page shows how to file a complaint and what happens next. It is a general template and is not legal advice.
Topics You Can Raise
You can write to us about:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Januaryhistory Septic
- The way your personal information was handled
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If Your Concern Is About a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own quotes, prices, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work on your septic system, sewer line or plumbing, the usual first step is to take it up with the provider directly. Keep a written record as you go.
Please tell us as well. Feedback helps keep our network honest, and providers who fall short again and again may be removed. Keep in mind that Januaryhistory Septic cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@januaryhistory.property and include:
- Your name and a way to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like
After You Write
We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will then look into what happened. That may include reaching out to the provider. After that, we will reply with what we found and any steps we plan to take.
If You Are Still Unhappy
If our reply does not satisfy you, answer our email and ask us to look again. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with licensed plumbing or septic contractors, your state licensing board or local health department may also be able to help.
